Expectations
Multi page interface interactive design is a new and blurry area for me. I want to better grasp the subject matter from the ground up. I hope this class can help me do just that. I am looking to get a better understanding of the software. These programs are photoshop, dreamweaver, and flash. I have little experience with DW and FL so I really want to concentrate on these more. I hope to better understand the versatility and infrastructure of web design on a much deeper level.
Cheers!
References
As a new kid on the block I am still finding my influences. I have seen some great work thus far and some of my favorite designers are David Carson, Si Scott and Michael C. Place. I have always been drawn to the abstract side of art and I think these designers have a certain abstract quality about their design work that keeps them unhinged and disconnected from the norm. I have seen a great deal of their work as well as many other designers that I have not mentioned here. I am sure that as the course continues I will generate many other names and references for your viewing pleasure. Here are some links and work done by these artists I have just named.
First Class Reactions
I was not sure what to expect for this class, but after having met and heard the direction we will be moving I am excited to see where this class takes us! Digital design seems to be a new arena for most of us. It was nice to see many familiar faces in the classroom. I have good feelings about this new class. Mr. Cavalletti's work and his general view on the subject is encouraging and makes me feel as though he knows what he is doing. I look forward to a good season.
Cheers!
